An exclusive four-year deal has been finalized between Playtech, the online gaming software provider, and Paramount Pictures for Playtech to release branded video slots that are based on two favorite movies, The Untouchables and Gladiator.

The first movie to hit the Playtech online casinos is Gladiator and Playtech have teamed up with Dreamworks in order to create this fantastic offering of the popular theme.

The game takes players through the battles of ancient Rome and follows the story of the Oscar winning movie. It is a 5 reel and 25 payline video slot game with up to 10 coins being wagered per payline. Many of the symbols on the reels are actually characters from the movie and players can see the late Oliver Reed who features as Proximo, Connie Nielsen featuring as Lucilla and Joaquin Phoenix as Emperor Commodus. Playtech do not appear to have been given the rights to use Russel Crowe’s image on the reels.

Gladiator features fantastic animation and the quality of the Graphics, audio and video are excellent. There are many counts of video and audio footage of the actual film.

The video slot also has two bonus games whereby players can win extra cash. The first game is Gladiator bonus and players can win instant cash prizes.
