Ladbrokes has over 2,700 betting shops under its operational umbrella and takes bets valued at approximately £15 billion ($24.6 billion) each year.

Both Ladbrokes and Microgaming are being offered some interesting growth and opportunities for new revenue streams with the new agreement. Microgaming is known to be the best online and live casino gambling game developer with a proven track record and range and this, together with Ladbroke's reputation, will see the new agreement afford them with equal increased opportunities which will assist them in maximizing on future relationships.

Ladbrokes was about to sign a deal to purchase rival 888 in terms of which it would adopt 888's software instead of looking for external supplies. However, Ladbrokes pulled out of talks over the purchase in April, 2011 and nothing more has been heard with regard to the potential purchase.

The company is currently negotiating with other gaming suppliers and Ladbrokes has also provided its retail betting shops with new gambling machines which was finished at the end of May.
