According to a recent report by the Global Betting & Gaming Consultants (GBGC), business opportunities in relation to the online gambling industry is expanding as a result of the continued growth of online gambling.

Countries such as Slovakia, Slovenia and the Czech Republic are already starting to acknowledge the idea of Internet gambling and are busy implementing regulations which will result in communication areas as well as software that needs to be created. There is great potential for the online gambling market in Eastern Europe.

Other countries that could also follow the Internet gambling craze could possibly be Croatia and Bulgaria. There is the possibility that these countries will also allow gaming licenses to be held by companies outside of the state lottery.

Despite the fact that there are already many software providers for online casinos there is the opportunity for other technology companies to expand into the market due to the great expansion of the Internet gambling industry.

It will probably be a good thing for the US to be one of the last countries to enter the online gambling craze. They have thus far been wary but should they want to enter the Internet gambling craze in the future they meanwhile have the opportunity to observe the other countries online gambling methods.

The US can learn from the experience of the other countries and see what they are doing right or wrong before implementing their own regulations should they enter the market.
