Febuary 11, 2009 - Playtech Recognized At 2009 CAP Awards

Playtech has been around since 1999 but it wasn't until this years 2009 CAP Awards that they were recognized for their innovation. Here amongst 500 affiliates and operators, they were presented with the Award for Best iGaming Bingo Software. Shmuel Segal, Head of Bingo for Playtech had this to say about the win.

"We are delighted to have received this acclaim for the strength of our offering and proud to be acknowledged as the best bingo software provider in the industry."

Playtech can accredit part of this award to changing the way the users experience the game. Their design allows for operators to run completely customized games as well as have a larger number of players participate. This gives more of a community feel to all the avid Bingo players regardless of where the individual is playing the game. Being able to bring the atmosphere of being in a an actual bingo hall is what CEO, Mor Weizer is most proud of.

Developing a user friendly client that can handle multiple game types is a task in itself. It's when a company develops software that is not only easy for the user, but also easy for the operators to maintain. The way their software was developed also allows it to be completely integrated with other Playtech products to give them the best cross-selling opportunity. The delicate balance between functionality and ease of use for not only the client but the operators is what sets this company apart from the rest.

The Isle of Man-based firm isn't stopping their development there. Playtech is patiently waiting until the beginning of the second quarter to release a new version of its already exciting software. We'll just have to wait and see what innovations Playtech has up their sleeve in the future.
