August 28, 2010 - WagerWorks Signs Up Betfred as New Client

WagerWorks has revealed that it has entered into an agreement with leading bookmaker Betfred to supply online gaming content.

Betfred is based in the United Kingdom and is one of the largest and most reputed independent bookmakers in the world operating land based betting through more than 750 retail outlets. Betfred also carries out online business through Betfred Online which includes online casino, poker, bingo and games as well as sports betting. WagerWorks will offer its products to Betfred Games through Finsoft, a platform partner of WagerWorks.

Nick Mounteer, Operations Director for Betfred Online explained that it is Betfred’s strategy to regularly update and enhance its games portfolio in order to keep its players content and spend more time at the Betfred portals. He added that Betfred offers players the best games from various software providers and because WagerWorks are regarded as one of the top games suppliers in the market it made strategic sense to make use of their availability via the Finsoft platform.

Cleopatra, Monopoly with Pass “Go” Bonus, Wheel of Fortune Hollywood Edition and Cluedo are the most popular WagerWorks online slots games that have already gone live at Betfred Games. The agreement between WagerWorks and Betfred will see more games added in due course.

WagerWorks, who have a client list of over 25 online gaming operators, is the online and mobile subsidiary of International Game Technology (IGT).
